Services
Whether I'm working with a family or a school team, I start by understanding the child and the environment around them. Together, we identify priorities, explore what's contributing to the current situation, and build an approach that holds up at home and at school
Family Support
You know your child better than anyone. My role is to help you make sense of what's happening, recognize what your child may be communicating through their behavior, and learn approaches that can make everyday life work better for your family.

Services begin with an individualized assessment, looking closely at your child's strengths, routines, relationships, and environment. From there, we'll develop a support plan informed by Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and, where appropriate, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
ABA can help us identify practical, measurable strategies to build useful skills, expand communication, and respond to situations that affect your child's safety or quality of life. ACT can help parents and children handle difficult emotions and stay connected to what matters most to them.
Depending on your child's needs, we may focus on skills such as:
Communication
Expressive and receptive language, and functional ways to ask for what they need
Managing Distress and Staying Safe
Supporting children through challenges such as aggression, meltdowns, and self-injury
Daily Living Skills
Dressing, mealtimes, hygiene, and independence at home
Social Skills
Playing and interacting with peers in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful
Motor Skills
Fine and gross motor skills used in everyday routines
Independence in the Community
Building confidence and independence in public spaces
Ongoing guidance may include hands-on parent coaching, in-home sessions, and regular check-ins as your child grows and your family's needs change.
School Collaboration
Every school has its own culture. Effective support comes from learning what makes your setting unique, understanding the student's experience, and identifying what will work in the classroom.
I collaborate with school teams through classroom observation, functional behavior assessments, and individualized planning. As a team, we identify strategies that encourage student participation and inclusion.
My goal is not only to help a team support one student, but also to build educators' confidence and skills so they can apply what they've learned in other situations.
Support plans may target skills such as:
Attention and Focus
Helping a student stay with a task in a way that works for how they think
Transitions
Moving between activities, environments, and routines throughout the school day
Self-Regulation
Developing coping skills to recognize and manage emotions
Communication
Functional ways for a student to express needs and comprehend instruction in the classroom
Social Skills
Navigating peer relationships, group work, and shared spaces
Classroom Participation
Finding a student's own path to engaging with lessons and routines

Depending on your school's needs, services may include:
-
Consultation for specific students
-
Professional development and staff training in behavioral principles and neurodiversity-affirming practices
-
Ongoing coaching and feedback across the school year
For schools looking for continued guidance, monthly or termly consultation arrangements can provide consistency throughout the school year.
